Michele Salomon is the founder and principal of M&A Consulting, an independent research practice based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. She has spent 30 years designing and directing research that matters — studies that have shaped public discourse, influenced policy, and generated coverage in Newsweek, TIME, and other national outlets.
Her work sits at the intersection of research, strategy, and public influence. She specializes in research built for public release — designed from the start to help clients tell better stories, inform decisions, educate audiences, and influence what happens next. She brings the same rigor to qualitative work and Converge facilitation, working with clients who need to understand not just what people think, but why – and who need a room full of stakeholders to reach a shared understanding together.
Before founding M&A, Michele held senior leadership positions at The Harris Poll, Nielsen, and SSRS, working across healthcare, public relations, public affairs, and nonprofit sectors. She holds a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
Michele works directly with every client. M&A is deliberately a small practice — built for clients who want a senior research partner, not a managed account.
She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University and is an active member of AAPOR and the qualitative research community. She is based in the Lehigh Valley and works with clients nationally.
